Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program
The Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program is offered through the Central Michigan District Health Department. Women 40-64 years of age who meet income and insurance eligibility guidelines may apply for this program. Women who are uninsured or underinsured are eligible. The program is free to eligible women without insurance. For underinsured women, the program will cover the remaining cost of the screenings after their insurance has been billed.
The financial guidelines for this program are very generous. Women with a family size of 1 can make up to $23,275 and women with a family size of 2 can make up to $31,225 and still be eligible for the program. Contact Michele Wolf, BCCCP Coordinator at (989) 773-5921, Ext. 159 for more information.

Family Planning
Pregnancy testing and referral/STD Testing and treatment, birth control-pills, Norplant, IUD, Depo Provieral, Lunell, annual pap smear, breast exams, referrals if needed, referral for labs mammogram, US testing as needed.

Immunization Services
Provision of childhood immunization series/adolescent boosters, menomune for college bound freshmen/adult TD (tetanus), Flu and Pneumoccocal vaccines,Hepititis B for 0-19 year olds and high-risk adults, TB skin testing.

Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)
A program offered to provide support for pregnant women and their infants.
SERVICES PROVIDED BY MIHP:
Home, office, or school visits by Registered Nurses, Registered Dieticians and/or Social Workers.
Parents as Teachers Curriculum.
Parenting and childbirth education.
Referrals to resources and services.
Access to essential Health Department programs such as WIC, Immunizations, and Family Planning.
Strong emphasis on paternal involvement and influence.
Development of family and individual goals.
Mileage reimburesement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pregnant or raising an infant.
Medicaid eligible or enrolled.
Live in Clare County.
